The brief
The problem, and the solution.
The problem
Dry Creek Quarter Horses & Reproduction stores frozen semen for outside stallions and sells their breedings to regional mares. Running the program means tracking every stallion, owner, contract, tank location and dose, plus the stud fee sales, kick-backs and storage fees owed, for stallions standing from Texas to Saskatchewan.
The solution
An iPad app installed from a web link that works without internet and keeps every record on the device. Stallion records carry registration, genetics, breeding terms, photos and contracts; doses remaining calculate from straws received; stud fee sales compute the 10% kick-back; and mare records track treatments and breeding events. One-tap backup and restore protect the data, photos and documents.
